The term you had to be there couldn’t be more accurate regarding one of, if not thee talk show that set the bar for what we now know as Ratchet-TV. Yes folks, we are talking about The Jerry Springer Show.

According to Netflix:

As youngsters growing up in the 90s, the best part of days off from school was the then trio of ratchet TV we could only watch due to its daytime slots: The Ricki Lake Show, The Maury Show, and The Jerry Springer Show. We’re hoping documentaries on the other two are not far behind.
