The Book Of Hov Has Been Extended Till 12/4 (His Bday) + 4 Things To Know Before Visiting The Exhibit in Brooklyn.
We were in Atlanta during The Book Of Hov Exhibit debut at The Brooklyn Public Library. So you already KNOW it was our first stop when we landed in Brooklyn last week. To our surprise, we walked right in. But as the end date nears, we expect that was just the favor of a Brooklyn boy. And long lines are on the horizon.
To save you some time, here are four things you should know before visiting THE BOOK OF HOV at @BKLYNLibrary.
1. Grab the BOOK OF HOV Exhibit Book Guide as soon as you enter the Library from the nearest employee. The map inside will guide you through the entire exhibit. It will not be available after the exhibit ends. It breaks down the entire exhibit with images and descriptions. And is definitely a collector’s item.
2. The Book of HOV will be up until October 2023. Head there now to avoid long lines that will surely wrap around the corner in October (and possibly September).
3. You don’t need a ticket, The Book of HOV is free and open to the public during Brooklyn Public Library’s regular hours of operation:
Monday
9 am - 8 pm
Tuesday

Wednesday

Thursday

Friday

4. Get The Book of HOV Library Card
As part of the celebration and in honor of JAY-Z’s unparalleled body of work, Brooklyn Public Library and Roc Nation have joined forces to create 13 limited-edition library cards, each featuring art from an iconic JAY-Z album—from Reasonable Doubt to 4:44.
Visitors can collect all 13 cards, available at different branches across the borough.
Sign up online to avoid a longer wait, and pick it up in person. Unfortunately, this opportunity is for NY residents only.
